Alicia F. Keel, CPA
Alicia is a new resident to Plant City, Florida. She and Joe Keel, proprietor of Keel and Curley Winery, married in July 2009 and moved to Plant City soon after. Alicia was originally born in Cooperstown, NY and moved to Pinellas County when she was seven when her parents had the dream to re-locate to sunny Florida.
Alicia graduated from St. Pete College with an Associate of Science Degree in Accounting and continued her studies at the University of South Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree. She passed the Certified Public Accounting exam in November of 1999 and has owned and operated her accounting practice in St. Petersburg and Tampa since 1994.
Currently, Alicia is utilizing her vast accounting and tax experience in the distribution field as Six Stars Beverage Company, LLC makes its debut in Florida.
Clay is a resident of Plant City, FL and hails from the Tampa Bay Area. He graduated from The University of South Florida with a B.A. in 2005 and then commissioned onto active duty as an Army Officer. Clay served two years in Operation Iraqi Freedom managing Army medical assets and logistics where he earned two Bronze Stars.
Clay formed his first beer and wine distribution company, The Florida Wine Connection, in 2005. He built the company from the ground up including everything from building a warehouse to calling on retailers. Clay has extensive training and experience in warehousing, distribution, marketing, and sales.
Clay is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration with a focus in Marketing at Saint Leo University in San Antonio, FL. He is married to Carmen Keel, a Polk county teacher, and has two daughters.
